Admissions 2026–27
Applications are open for LKG to Class IX and for Class XI. The process is short, transparent and the same for every family.

What admission at GRT looks like
We admit children on the strength of a conversation, not a competitive examination. For kindergarten and primary, that means an informal interaction with the child and a meeting with parents. From Class VI upwards, a short written assessment in English, Mathematics and Science helps us place the student correctly.
Seats are limited by section size, so early applications genuinely help — but a late application is never dismissed while seats remain.
- Open for LKG–IX and Class XI for the 2026–27 session
- No donation, no capitation — the published fee is the whole fee
- Decisions communicated within seven working days
- Transport available across west and south-west Chennai

The questions we are asked most
Is there a donation or capitation fee?
No. The school charges the published fee and nothing besides it. Any payment made to the school is receipted.
Do siblings get preference?
Yes. Siblings of current students and children of alumni are considered first when seats are limited, provided the application arrives within the published window.
What does the entrance assessment cover?
For Classes VI–IX it covers English, Mathematics and Science at the level of the previous class. It is a placement check, not a competitive exam — we are looking for gaps we would need to close.
Can we apply mid-year?
Mid-year admissions are considered against vacancies, usually for families relocating to Chennai. Write to the admissions office and we will tell you honestly whether a seat exists.
How is the fee paid?
Fees are paid in three terms through the online parent portal, by NEFT, or by card at the school office. A term-wise schedule is shared with the offer letter.
Is school transport available in our area?
Buses run across Ashok Nagar, K.K. Nagar, Vadapalani, Saligramam, West Mambalam and Porur. Call the office with your address and we will confirm the nearest stop.
