Life at GRT

Clubs, courts, stage and library — the hours that shape a child as much as any lesson does.

Beyond the Timetable

A school day that is more than lessons

Ask a student what they remember about the year and you rarely hear a chapter number. You hear the club they ran, the match they nearly won, the play they were talked into, the morning they read the assembly notice without stumbling.

So the things that build confidence are timetabled, not left to whoever can stay back. Clubs, games, arts and library all sit inside school hours.

  • A weekly club period for every student in Classes 6 to 8
  • Compulsory physical activity classes for all students
  • Arts, music and theatre taught during the school day
  • A timetabled library period up to Class VIII

12.30

Lunch

Supervised lunch, with the canteen open through school hours for snacks and beverages.
